Hydrofoils (fast) and batelli (slow) connect almost every major town. However, they can be pricey for daily use and stop running early in the evening. - Public Buses: Two main lines run along the coast: the Arriva line on the west (Brescia side) and the ATV line on the east (Verona side). While affordable, they are subject to heavy summer traffic and may not always be on time. - The Train: Trains only serve the southern shore (Desenzano and Peschiera del Garda). There are no train stations in the northern or central parts of the lake.

Renting a car in Italy is straightforward, but there are a few "local secrets" you should know: - The Process: You will need a valid Driver’s License, a Passport/ID, and a Credit Card in the main driver’s name for the security deposit. If you are from outside the EU, we highly recommend carrying an International Driving Permit (IDP). - ZTL Zones: Most historic town centers have "Zona Traffico Limitato" (Restricted Traffic Zones). Entering these will result in an automated fine. Always park in designated lots outside the old town walls. - Parking Lines: Remember the color code! Blue lines are paid parking, White lines are free, and Yellow lines are for residents or disabled permit holders only. - Narrow Roads: The "Gardesana" road around the lake is breathtaking but can be narrow in the northern tunnels. We recommend renting a compact or mid-sized car for easier maneuvering.

We offer a convenient and flexible service for travelers arriving by train: -Arrival- (Pick-up): We do not deliver cars directly to the station platform, but we provide a Free Shuttle Service. Once you arrive, our shuttle will pick you up and bring you to our office (just a few minutes away) to complete the paperwork and collect your car. -Departure- (Drop-off): For your convenience, it is possible to return the car directly at the train station parking area. This allows you to catch your train without having to return to our main office first. How it works: The logistics, access codes, and specific parking instructions for the station drop-off service must be discussed and arranged directly at our desk during the pick-up phase. Our staff will explain the procedure and verify if the service is available for your specific return time.

It depends on the road you choose: -Lake Garda Roads: Driving along the scenic lakeside roads (like the Gardesana) is completely toll-free. You can explore Desenzano, Sirmione, and Salò without any road charges. But! Be careful at A4 Motorway (Autostrada): If you plan to travel further, such as to Milan, Venice, or Verona via the A4 Motorway (the nearest entrance is Desenzano), you must pay a toll. How to pay: Our vehicles are not equipped with Telepass (automatic electronic payment) unless specifically requested and confirmed. When entering the motorway, take a ticket from the automated machine. When exiting, use the white lanes for cash or credit card payments, or the blue lanes for cards only. Avoid the yellow "Telepass" lanes to prevent fines and administrative fees.
